The Rwandan Embassy in China, working with the Rwandan diaspora, is set to host a two-day expo called “Meet Rwanda in China” from August 1–2, 2025, in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. The event will spotlight Rwanda’s growth trajectory, investment potential, and the cultural synergy between Rwanda and China.
Organizers expect over 200 entities to participate, including private companies, universities, investors, tourism operators, media outlets, and trade associations. Rwandans living in China will also engage with prospective partners and stakeholders, sharing insights and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

The event will promote Rwanda’s trade and investment prospects, highlight national progress aligned with Vision 2050, and encourage deeper ties between citizens of both countries. Highlights will include traditional music and dance performances, cultural games, and symbolic acts like milk-sharing—celebrating Rwandan hospitality.
“Meet Rwanda in China” marks a strategic moment to reaffirm bilateral cooperation, build people-to-people connections, and reflect the shared ambition of advancing sustainable development.
